With his first team opportunities limited at Chelsea last season, Kurt Zouma secured a loan move to Stoke City this summer in order to get regular game time in a World Cup season and played his first 90 minutes for his new club in a 2-1 win over Bolton on Saturday.

Following the victory, the 22-year-old took to Twitter to express his delight at having played a full 90 minutes for Mark Hughes’ side.

The France international will spend the season on-loan at Stoke City where he will gain more Premier League experience in the hope of catching the eye of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as well as national team coach Didier Deschamps.
