LOAN WATCH: Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has extended his contract before signing for Huddersfield Town on a season long loan, the Championship side have now confirmed.

Trevoh, younger brother of former Blue Nathaniel, was involved under Frank Lampard during the opening stages of our pre-season tour of Ireland. However, he was always likely one of the youngsters to be cut from the squad ahead of the new season.

The English defender, who was born in Sierra Leone, spent last season with Ipswich Town, who finished the season rock bottom of the Championship and were subsequently relegated to League One. Chalobah was one of few who did himself justice.

He has now taken the step up to Huddersfield, who were just relegated from the Premier League and will be hoping to bounce straight back up into the big time. We wish him all best for the challenges which lie ahead of him this coming season.
