Chelsea picked up their best results of preseason so far with a 3-0 win over AC Milan which saw a strong Blues team

Rather than split the first team between today and tomorrow’s games, Xabi Alonso elected to pick a very strong team for today’s game, with tomorrow’s likely to see more squad players and youth stars in action.

The team he put out played well without creating too many chances in the first half. The Blues still went in ahead at the break after Joao Pedro headed in a corner taken nicely by Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea rack up 3-0 win over Milan

JP grabbed another after half time, finishing Pedro Neto’s cross from close range.

Caicedo improved on his assist in the second period with a super goal. He hit an outside of the foot volley on corner taken directly to him on the edge of the box to make it 3-0.

Perhaps the biggest news of the game was Romeo Lavia completing his first 90 minutes for Chelsea.
