Antonio Conte is adamant that he trusts his Chelsea side to be responsible in their free time, report Sky Sports.

This comes after Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was injured in the Netherlands after being involved in a car crash, with Man City taking on the Premier League champions tomorrow at Stamford Bridge.

Last week, Tiemoue Bakayoko was involved in a car crash after driving back home from training but speaking at Friday’s press conference, Conte values the importance of players having time off yet they must also be sensible and professional.

Conte is quoted by Sky Sports saying:

“Honestly, I’m not worried because I think I have players that try to make the best decision and it’s important to understand when there is the room to travel, to go to see a game or for other situations.”

Being a former player for nineteen years featuring for Juventus and Leece, Conte knows the pressures current players face, as Sky Sports report:

“I was a player and when you have your own day off you must take your own responsibility and make the best decision for you, for the club.”

Aguero will miss this top of the table clash, which is a boost for us as the 29-year-old has had a great impact in this fixture over the years.
