Chelsea’s starting eleven to face Arsenal at the Emirates in today’s six-pointer in the race for Champions League qualification has been confirmed.

Today’s game could prove pivotal in both team’s seasons. Arsenal head into this one six points behind Chelsea. They cannot afford to fall any further off the pace if they want to have any chance of getting back into the Champions League for next season.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will be looking to put the pressure on Tottenham, who don’t play until tomorrow. We can jump up into third place with a victory today, as well as keeping a comfortable cushion between ourselves and the chasing pack.

The big story of the day is that Maurizio Sarri has left Callum Hudson-Odoi on the bench, which is not going to be a popular move among the Chelsea faithful. He has outperformed Willian in recent weeks and few could deny he deserved to start this one.

Regardless, this team is certainly good enough to get the job done today, CHO or no CHO. Eden Hazard is in the false 9 role once again, with Mateo Kovacic occupying the third midfield position. Here’s both team’s starting elevens in full for today.
