Cesc Fabregas will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

As per the Metro, the Spaniard has been continually linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with a host of Serie A sides thought to be interested in securing his services.

Losing Fabregas would be an immeasurable blow for Antonio Conte. He is the only player of his kind in our squad, and one of the best in his position anywhere on the planet. However, thankfully, he has confirmed he has no intention of jumping ship.

The Spain international is quoted by the Metro claiming that he is too happy to think of leaving Chelsea anytime soon, despite admitting that he misses his friends in his native Barcelona:

“I have found absolute happiness at Chelsea. The family is delighted, totally adapted to life in London and the fans love me. I am too happy to change clubs. I just miss my family and my friends in Barcelona.”

From a Chelsea perspective, this is great news. Fabregas is an invaluable member of our side and would be extremely difficult to replace, for any price. Here’s to many more years of Cesc Fabregas…
