18-year-old sensation Jann-Fiete Arp could be signed for as little as €7.5m in the summer with Chelsea in the fold to secure what would be a steal in the current market.
That’s according to German news outlet Bild, who report that there is a 20% chance of the Hamburg forward leaving the Bundesliga side in the near future.
A host of other Premier League clubs including Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City are also monitoring Arp.
The German U17 international has scored twice in his last fifteen appearances for his club in what’s been a difficult season for Hamburg as they’re at risk of being relegated to the second division.
If Hamburg is to get relegated, that would only increase Arp’s chances of moving to England with a transfer to Stamford Bridge being a genuine possibility.
However, you would expect Arp to either be loaned out or to be part of the Blues’ academy next season.
