We have a rather positive injury update to bring you ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of Physio Room.
Chelsea have four injury issues ahead of the clash with the Red Devils, but Maurizio Sarri should not be forced to change his starting eleven for the game.
The only player who looks set to miss the game, as as per Physio Room, is Ethan Ampadu, who suffered a knee injury during Wales’ defeat to Spain over the international break.
All of Mateo Kovacic, Antonio Rudiger and Ross Barkley are carrying respective knocks ahead of Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge. The only one of those three who could still be ruled out is Barkley, the other two are available for selection.
Successful Premier League title pursuits often rely on a slice of luck on the injury front. Chelsea are getting it, so far. Maurizio Sarri will be delighted about it, and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed it continues.
