Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has slammed suggestions that Carlo Ancelotti will replace the 48-year-old, the Express reports.
After being sacked by German club Bayern Munich earlier this season, the former-Blues manager has been linked with a move back to England.
The champions have had an underwhelming season and are already nine points behind league leaders Manchester City. The Sun reported that Ancelotti could return to Stamford Bridge if Conte is to get the sack. However, Conte has totally disregarded these talks as the Express reports.
Conte is quoted by the Express saying:
“There’s a lot of bullsh*t. They try to create problems between me and the club. I’ve answered this very well in the past about different issues.”
It seems that the frustrations of this season so far have got to the Italian.
Despite Carlo Ancelotti being a Chelsea legend winning the domestic double with us in 2010, Conte’s work at Chelsea surely isn’t done as we retained the Premier League last season.
Hopefully, our manager can be in higher spirits as we look to put pressure on Man City by winning tomorrow’s match against Bournemouth.
