Here’s a weird one for you – Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara is under the impression that Antonio Conte will STAY at Chelsea next summer.
Has Kammy been stranded on a desert island for the past few months? He must have been. He must have missed Chelsea’s surrender in the second-half of the season. Our inability to break down defences and the continuous capitulation of our defence.
He must have missed the floods of reports linking former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri with the Chelsea managerial post, which is effectively vacant barring some crossed i’s and dotted t’s.
We’re not sure what planet Kammy’s living on, but he has revealed his belief that Conte will still be Chelsea manager next term. He appears to believe there is some logic to his standpoint on the matter, too.
The Sky Sports joker is quoted by the Daily Star claiming that if Roman Abramovich was going to sack Conte, he would have done it by now:
“Looking at it from the outside now, Roman Abramovich usually makes a decision at the end of the season. That is either to keep his manager or get rid of his manager.”
“He hasn’t made that decision yet so I would expect Antonio Conte to be there next season.”
What do you think, Blues?
