Chelsea’s released and retain lists have been published by the Premier League, with nine players set to depart following the expiration of their contracts. Here’s everything you need to know.

Mitchell Beeney: If you went to the Bridge during the 2014/15 campaign, you’d probably have been Beeney warming up alongside Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois before every match. Unfortunately, he hasn’t developed into that calibre of goalkeeper and will subsequently depart.

Isaac Christie-Davies: Christie-Davies has gone as far as he can with Chelsea. Now 20-years-old, it’s time for a new challenge. Reports suggest that a move to Liverpool may beckon for the youngster.

Cole Dasilva: Brother of the more talented Jay Dasilva, Cole will leave Chelsea this summer without having been able to get anywhere near the first-team.

Matej Delac: This one’s a real tear-jerker. Delac was our longest-serving player following the departure of John Terry last summer. He will finally be given a chance to break free of the Chelsea loan system and have a career of his own.

Eduardo: Perhaps the most likely to still sign a new contract out of those listed as released. Eduardo is good enough to be starting elsewhere, yet he’s rarely even included among our substitutes.

Jordan Houghton: Houghton is talented. He’s proven himself to be an able lower-league player. Unfortunately, though, a step-up to Premier League level is still (at least) a few years away.

Renedi Masampu: Masampu signed from the Metropolitan Police’s youth team last summer. After one-year with Chelsea, he’s been shown the exit door.

Wallace: Remember him? Wallace’s performances under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho during our 2013 pre-season campaign were promising. His career has fallen flat, though. His Chelsea career is over.

Tushaun Tyrese Walters: Another who has failed to show those at the academy that he is worthy to hold a contract at a club like Chelsea. We wish him the best elsewhere.
