Chelsea prodigy Ethan Ampadu has signed a new five-year contract with the Blues, it has been confirmed on the club’s official website.
Ampadu will need no introduction, you will all be well aware of how good this kid will be if he is able to successfully fulfil his potential. He’s 18-years-old. but mature beyond his years. Ampadu is first-team ready, the new contract he’s been handed his testament to that.
Chelsea have confirmed that Ampadu put pen-to-paper on a new five-year contract, which will keep him at Stamford Bridge until (at least) 2023.
Maurizio Sarri opted against loaning out Ampadu this summer, instead keeping him as part of his first-team squad. That’s a clear indication of how much faith the Italian has in the young man. He, like us, can see that he is destined for the top.
We imagine that Ampadu will be involved as Chelsea take on PAOK in their opening Europa League group game on Thursday night. He’ll no doubt have a spring in his step after being handed this new contract.
