After the disappointment of not sealing all three points away to Arsenal on Wednesday, three Chelsea players all shared the same feeling after the game.

Marcos Alonso put Chelsea 2-1 up with a well-timed strike in the 84th minute. The Spaniard has scored seven goals so far this season for the Blues.

However, his opposition full-back Hector Bellerin rescued Arsenal with his own late goal in the 92nd minute.

Alonso showed his disappointment on Instagram as the team couldn’t hold out for a memorable win:

Thibaut Courtois can be more proud of his individual performance against the Gunners.

The Belgian made some vital saves, including tipping the ball onto his post which then hit the other post as the ball ended up in his posssession.

Both goals that Arsenal scored were too good for Courtois and not many goalkeepers in the world have been able to save them.

Courtois is looking ahead to the FA Cup tie against Norwich on Saturday. It’s expected however that back-up goalkeeper Willy Caballero will start for the visit to Carrow Road.

Cesc Fabregas was also more positive than Alonso despite agreeing that Chelsea should have won the game.

The Spaniard’s instagram post was also humourous, as he shared a light-hearted exchange with former Barcelona teammate Alexis Sanchez.

Perhaps it was maybe a gesture from Fabregas to ask the Arsenal winger to join him at Stamford Bridge.
