Chelsea have three players ruled out injured ahead of our Community Shield clash with Manchester City tomorrow afternoon.
Maurizio Sarri is already without several key players due to a lack of match-fitness. He could have done without further injury problems.
Eden Hazard, Willian, Thibaut Courtois, Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante are all yet to return to Chelsea training and make themselves available for selection.
This means that Chelsea will be heading into the Community Shield without five players that may well have, ordinarily, started the game.
Regardless, Sarri has to make do with what he has, which is less following the injury Cesc Fabregas sustained against Arsenal.
According to Physio Room, Fabregas joins Kurt Zouma and Marco Van Ginkel on the injury table. None of the three will play a part in the game.
Man City are without Benjamin Mendy, but Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez have a chance of being fit and available for the game.
