Chelsea take on PAOK in the Europa League this evening, and Maurizio Sarri has three players who will not be available for selection.
Maurizio Sarri confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Moses has a back problem, which presumably he picked up during training, seeing as he rarely gets a run-out on the field.
This is one game that he may have got an opportunity to impress in, so he will be disappointed to be missing out.
Hazard revealed following our loss to Tottenham that he hurt his ankle under a tough challenge from Serge Aurier. He will not be risked for tonight’s game, and rightly so.
Sarri did note during his presser that Hazard is expected to be back in time for Sunday’s clash with local rivals Fulham, with his excellent news.
Ampadu remains sidelined having suffered a serious ankle injury while on international duty with Wales. There is no return date set just yet, but we hope to see him back in action in time for the new year.
