Ahead of Chelsea’s visit to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this weekend, we’re able to bring you an injury update for both sides thanks to the reliable Physio Room.
Palace are yet to record a point in the Premier League this season. In fact, Roy Hodgson’s side are yet to even find the back of the net. The game is perfectly poised for the Eagles to bag their first points of the Premier League season against the reigning champions, as is the nature of this nonsensical league.
However, if they are to overcome Chelsea, they will have to do it without several key players. As per Physio Room, Connor Wickham, Wilfired Zaha and Christian Benteke are all ruled out of the game through injury. They list Scott Dann as a ‘slight doubt’, whereas Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ineligible to face his parent side.
Physio Room believe that Alvaro Morata and N’Golo Kante are both ‘major doubts’, whereas Danny Drinkwater has no chance of being available for selection. David Luiz is available once again having served his three-match supension.
