Eden Hazard has set an ambitious target for himself and his Chelsea teammates in the business end of the Premier League season.
Chelsea have had several players who have underperformed this season. Maurizio Sarri has continued to pick them on merit, but little else. Hazard is not one who could be accused of such. He has been brilliant once again for us this term, perhaps as good as ever.
If Chelsea miss out on Champions League qualification, Hazard will no doubt be disappointed, but shouldn’t let his head drop. He’s done everything he can on the field of play, and it looks as though he’s now doing his bit off it to help the cause.
Chelsea’s talisman is quoted by ITV News setting a highly ambitious target for Chelsea for the tail end of this campaign. He has revealed his hope that we will be able to win every single one of our remaining 11 league fixtures. Hazard said:
“We talked together in the dressing room about Arsenal-Tottenham. Both lost two points. Top four is a hard war, because we’re not only four teams, we’re six teams.”
“Now we have 11 games to play till the end of the season. We’ll try to take the maximum points.”
We won 13 in a row under Antonio Conte – let’s do it again!
