Former Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge believes that the Blues will sign another striker to help out Alvaro Morata in the January transfer window, report The Sun.

Bridge will forever have a place in Chelsea fan’s hearts for THAT goal at Highbury in the Champions League. The ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ star is more than qualified to discuss current Chelsea affairs, and he has done so during an interview with The Sun.

The Sun quote Bridge, who believes that the Premier League champions will sign another centre-forward in January to help Alvaro Morata carry the goal-scoring burden:

“I really like him [Morata] but I expect them to probably sign another centre-forward in January. Not to replace Morata but someone either to work with him or they can change. Someone physically a bit stronger and who wants to bully defenders.”

Morata is doing a fine job at firing in the goals on his own, and with Michy Batshuayi in reserve, there doesn’t appear to be any dire need for attacking reinforcements in Antonio Conte’s squad. Bridge, however, believes that we will still pursue them in January. Only time will tell if he proves to be correct.
