Maurizio Sarri has said something incredibly encouraging about this current Chelsea side. If his words are accurate, the rest of the Premier League ought to be very, very afraid.

Chelsea are currently level on points with both Liverpool and Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League table. We’re yet to lose a single game, with our only draws coming away to West Ham and to Liverpool at the Bridge.

The Blues are flying, and it’s incredible that Sarri has been able to oversee such a drastic improvement in such a short space of time. Especially when you factor in his lack of pre-season. It’s rather astonishing.

However, Sarri does not yet believe that Chelsea are functioning at full capacity. By the sound of his recent comments, he is under the impression that there is a lot more to come from his Chelsea side.

The Italian is quoted by Football Italia claiming that. Do you agree with him, Blues? Is such further improvement realistic?

“[Guardiola & Klopp have had] years of work and continual testing, like in a laboratory. I’d say this Chelsea side is only at 60-70 per cent capacity right now, but how much we are missing and how much we need is not the same thing. It’s double that.”
