Alvaro Morata has revealed that he considers Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard one of the best players in the world, report the Independent.
Hazard’s brilliance is hardly breaking news, he has firmly established himself among the world elite in recent seasons, and his performance against Atletico Madrid midweek suggested that the best is still yet to come from the Belgian.
We have not yet had much of an opportunity to see him linking up with club-record signing Morata in a Chelsea shirt, but we can already imagine that it’s going to be a joy to watch. The Spaniard has been discussing what it’s like to play alongside a player as good as Hazard, and as the Independent report, he claims that it’s easy!
“It’s not difficult playing with this kind of player, Eden’s one of the three best players in the world. It’s easy to play with players like him!”
Assuming that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are number one and two in Morata’s rankings, it’s quite the compliment to suggest that Hazard is in that bracket. We’re not going to argue with him…
