Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a move for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, report the Daily Star.
When Conte took the reins at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2016, it was immediately clear just how good of an appointment if was for the Blues. He wasted no time justifying Roman Abramovich’s decision to employ him, winning the Premier League title in his very first year in SW6.
However, all has not been rosy since he got his hands on the trophy. After multiple transfer failures and squad depth issues, Conte appears discontent. The recent poor performances and results have not helped his case, and there remains a question mark over his long-term future at the club.
As per the Daily Star, Paris Saint-Germain are set to pounce to take full advantage of the situation surrounding Conte’s future. The tabloid note that PSG have already made contact as they look to replace Unai Emery.
I’d take this rumour with a pinch of salt…
