Chelsea have been fairly inconsistent this season, with a solid 2-0 victory over the defending champions Manchester City. Before a shocking 4-0 defeat away to Bournemouth most recently.

If they are to secure a top four spot then they will certainly need to pick up for the remainder of the season, as both Arsenal and the resurgent Manchester United continue to pick up points.

Chelsea v Tottenham – 27/02

The first big upcoming league clash for Chelsea is the home derby to Tottenham at the end of February. Tottenham have a nice cushion in third and are short odds to remain in the top four come the end of the season. However they continue to go through injury problems with the likes of Kane and Alli sidelined at present. This is a game Chelsea need to win and they do have a strong home record at Tottenham in recent times, so will be the favourites to do so.

Chelsea v Wolves – 10/03

Big things were expected of Wolves as they returned to the Premier league following a dominating promotion run. The owners have invested heavily in the squad, and they have shown it this year as they sit in the top half of the table. This is another very important home fixture for Chelsea and one they will be strong favourites in. However Wolves did win the previous encounter between the two sides earlier this season.

Liverpool v Chelsea – 13/04

Liverpool remain the strong favourites to land their first top flight title since 1990. This fixture in April could be key for each side in where they finish come the end of the season. Liverpool will be the favourites with it being played at Anfield, but it could be a nervy clash being the fifth last game of the season, as they could be in touching distance of the title.

Liverpool have also not beaten Chelsea in the league since back in September 2016, and it is always very close between the two sides. They have drawn 1-1 in three of the previous four premier league encounters, so you can expect this to again be very close between the two sides.
