Mason Mount shines in link up role with Phil Foden and Jack Grealish

England beat Iceland 4-0 last night in the Nations League, sparking the end of a perfect international break for Chelsea players.

Granted Iceland are not the strongest opponents you can face, but they set up very stubbornly at the back and can often be quite hard to break down.

England had no problem doing this last night, and it was largely due to the excellent link up play between Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Manchester City’s Phil Foden, and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

The trio were magnificent together and looked like they had been playing in the same team for years week in week out.

Add Foden to that mix and the opposition really have problems.
