Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has discussed Chelsea’s reported interest in signing Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial – and the Italian is staying tight-lipped.

Martial is incredibly talented. It’s for that reason that United forked out so much to secure his services from AS Monaco in the first place.

However, we all know how Jose Mourinho likes to treat entertaining attacking players, who have little interest in tracking their opposing full-back.

Martial has been in and out of the side at a stage of his career that he needs to be playing regularly in order to progress. He needs a move away from Old Trafford, and Chelsea are thought to be keen.

Manchester Evening News (M.E.N) report that Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Frenchman, as well as Serie A giants Juventus.

Conte, though, does not have any interest in discussing the matter at this time. He’s quoted by M.E.N saying:

“I think this is not the right moment to speak about this. I don’t like to talk about players of other teams.”

“It’s disrespectful for the other players, for my players, for the other clubs. Our focus is to finish this season in the best possible way.”

Would you like to see Martial at Chelsea next season, Blues?
