Massimiliano Allegri

Reports in Italy are still adamant that Chelsea and Juventus could do business over Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata this summer.

Higuain has enjoyed an excellent two-years as a Juventus player. However, at 30-years-old, this could be the Serie A side’s final opportunity to recoup a large chunk of what they paid Napoli for him back in the summer of 2016.

Morata is Chelsea’s club-record signing. Optimism was high when he signed from Real Madrid last summer, but he fell short of what was expected of him. His debut season at Stamford Bridge was one defined by his shortfalls.

Both clubs have reasons to part with their star strikers this summer, and as per this report by Calciomercato, they are both considering moves for each other’s.

It’s claimed that the two clubs could swap strikers this summer in a move that they feel would be mutually beneficial. Both players’ market value is around the same figure, so we wouldn’t be against seeing this materialise.

What do you reckon, Blues?
