Juventus have reportedly named their price for reported Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain, but we are not alone in the race to sign the Argentine.
Manager Massimiliano Allegri previously offered any potential suitors encouragement in their pursuits of Higuain. He insisted that Juventus will not feel pressured to keep players against their will – they have no desire nor need to do so.
It looks as though Juventus will be tempted to cash-in on their superstar striker if their valuation is met. As per Calciomercato, their asking price is set at €65M, which admittedly is a little pricey for a 30-year-old (even if he is one of the best on the planet).
Chelsea are not the only team pursuing Higuain, though. Calciomercato’s report notes interest from Manchester United, with the Red Devils set to meet with Juve to hold talks over potential transfers between the clubs.
Let’s hope that all flights out of Turin are grounded for the foreseeable future…
