Chelsea have discovered how much it will cost to prise Alex Sandro away from Juventus this summer.

Here’s a name we haven’t heard in a while…

The Blues were linked with a move to sign Sandro for the entirety of last summer. However, the move never materialised.

Juventus never had any intention of parting with the Brazilian, and Sandro never showed much willingness to push for a move away from Turin.

One-year on, it would seem silly for us to revive our interest in him. Emerson Palmieri hasn’t had a chance to show what he can do.

We have, though, still been linked with him by Football London. It’s claimed that both Chelsea and Manchester United are still tracking Sandro.

The report cites Italian outlet Mediaset Premium in claiming that Juventus will demand an eye-watering £52.7M for the 27-year-old.

If he is more prepared to leave Juventus this summer than he was last, now is the perfect time to do so.

He’ll have a clear schedule after not being picked to head to the World Cup with Brazil…
