Chelsea are reportedly prepared to cash-in on three players this summer, and our transfer budget could be increased considerably as a result.

It is unclear how much our manager, whoever it may be come the start of pre-season, will have to play with in the transfer market this summer.

Roman Abramovich has tightened his belt in recent years, with the club spending little more than they have banked through player sales.

Having missed out on Champions League qualification twice in the past three years, we find it unlikely that Abramovich will loosen the purse strings this summer.

However, if a great deal of money is raised by selling first-team players, the size of our transfer budget may well increase considerably.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are hoping to receive around £90M in exchange for Willian and Danny Drinkwater this summer.

Premium Sport claim that Chelsea have also set a £26M asking price for Davide Zappacosta amid interest from Inter Milan.

That’s a potential £116M that either Antonio Conte or Maurizio Sarri will be able to invest back into his team. Let’s wait and see if it comes to fruition.
