Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Serie A outfit Sassuolo over the possibility of sending Jeremie Boga out on-loan… again.

Boga was once considered one of the most talented and promising players to graduate from our academy. He was head and shoulders above his competitors at youth level, much like French counterpart Gael Kakuta all those years ago.

We’re hoping that Boga has a brighter future ahead of him than Kakuta has endured, but he is yet to perform well enough out on-loan to enter the first-team conversation.

Boga has spent spells with Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City, scoring a combined six league goals. At 21-years-old, next season could be a pivotal one for him, and he could be jetting off to Italy for it.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are in talks with Sassuolo, who would like to take Boga for the 2018/19 season. It’s claimed that Real Betis and Celta Vigo are all also keen.

Would a stint in Serie A be beneficial for Boga, Blues? Let us know what you think in the comments.
