Chelsea remain interested in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to the Sport Review.

The Sport Review believe that Premier League counterparts Manchester United are also keen to add Morata to their front-line this summer, but Blues boss Antonio Conte is prepared to offer them some stern competition in the race to secure his signature.

As per the Sport Review, Morata is in talks with Man United ahead of a potential move to Old Trafford, but that will not stop Conte making a last-ditch attempt to snatch him out of his rival’s grasp. The Sport Review believe that the Spain international’s transfer to the Red Devils has been delayed by disagreements over agent fees, and Chelsea will look to take full advantage of it.

The Sport Review report that Morata is keen to work with Conte at some point in the future, and Conte is keen to do the same. This is certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming days and weeks.
