Chelsea have slapped a hefty price-tag on Alvaro Morata amid reported interest from Milan.
Few players in the current Chelsea squad divide opinion quite like Morata. Some think he has the potential to reach the top, others believe he’s doomed to an eternity in the gutters.
We sit somewhere in the middle. Morata may well be the long-term solution to our striker woes, but we’re not prepared to give him much more time to prove it.
If Maurizio Sarri isn’t convinced, few would argue against parting with the Spaniard, if our demands are met by any potential suitors.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea’s valuation of Morata is £62M. Milan are already thought to be in touch over signing him, but do not appear prepared to pay that amount.
It’s doubtful that anyone would be at this point – he’s not worth it. If we were betting men, we’d bet our house on Morata still being here next term.
