Alex Sandro is still a key target for Chelsea with a chance of a £60m bid being tabled in January, the Daily Mail reports.
The Brazilian has emerged as one of the best players in his position since moving to Juventus, who is seen as the ideal player for Antonio Conte’s system.
The Blues missed out on Sandro after a £63m bid was rejected by the Turin based club in the summer, as reported by the Mirror.
This starting bid could be enough to lure the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge. However, Juventus may be reluctant to let their player go midway through the season.
Left wing-back Marcos Alonso needs competition for his spot and the addition of Sandro could even see the Spaniard being replaced instantly. Conte is clearly eager to land his number one target in this position.
It’s sure to be a busy January window for us as we hope to compete on all fronts for the remainder of the season.
