Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on a season-long loan.
Abraham attracted a host of Premier League interest last summer following a successful season out on-loan with Bristol City.
It was Swansea City’s pursuit of the forward which proved fruitful. Paul Clement’s pre-existing relationship with Chelsea provided him with an advantage in the race.
Abraham enjoyed a great start to life at the Liberty Stadium, but along with the rest of his Swansea teammates, his form tailed off towards the end of the season.
The 20-year-old is still not ready to come back to Stamford Bridge and make an impact for the Chelsea first-team. He may need a another season away on-loan to continue his development.
Surprisingly, Fenerbahce appear keen to provide him with that experience. The Turkish side qualified for the Champions League after finishing fifth, which would be an incredible opportunity for Abraham.
