Thierry Hazard has confirmed that Kylian Hazard will be leaving Chelsea on loan.

Kylian was likely recruited to improve Eden’s morale and convince him to stay at the club. He was always unlikely to make an impact on the first-team, and has not made a single appearance since signing last August.

At 23-years-old, Kylian needs to be playing regular first-team football to give him a chance to develop. His father, who also acts as his agent, has revealed that he could be set to move to Spain.

Thierry Hazard is quoted by the Express saying:

“Kylian has two years contract with Chelsea but will be loaned out. He did a test at VVV in the Netherlands but that did not happen. Now there is a chance in Spain for him.”

Spain could be the last place we should be looking to send Kylian. What if he returns raving to Eden about the sunshine? It’d be a disaster!

On a serious note, though, hopefully this loan move would be the making of Kylian. It’s time for him to step out of the shadow of his brother and into the limelight.
