Besiktas are attempting to sign Chelsea striker Diego Costa until the January transfer window, according to OK Diario.
As per OK Diario, Costa has one remaining hope of securing a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, as the Turkish transfer window remains open until the end of Thursday. The Spanish outlet claim that Besiktas are keen to secure his services until January, before ensuring he gets his move to former employers Atletico Madrid.
OK Diario believe that in order for Costa to re-join Atletico, he will have to make peace with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, but it remains to be seen whether either party would be willing to put an end to their feud.
The Costa saga has dragged on far too long and it’ll be a grey cloud hanging over the club if we are not able to resolve it soon. A move to Besiktas may well be the best possible outcome for all parties.
