Eden Hazard has all-but confirmed that he’s be interested in securing a move to Real Madrid this summer. This is the news that we’ve all been dreading.

Hazard has been our talisman for several years now. We’ve relied on his during difficult moments, and he’s pulled us through.

The Belgian has been influential in two Premier League title triumphs during his time as a Chelsea player. He’s one of our best ever, there’s no doubt about that.

However, at 27-years-old, it may be a matter of now or never for Hazard to make his dream move to Real Madrid – especially after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real would undoubtedly be keen to replace their former number 7 with our Eden, and by the looks of things, he’s now prepared to leave Chelsea for the Santiago Bernabeu.

Following Belgium’s 2-0 victory over England, Hazard confirmed that he could depart this summer, hinting that a move to Real could be on the cards.

He’s quoted by Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur saying:

“After 6 wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different. Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination.”

If he does go, this is going to hurt very, very much.
