Conte v Mourinho

Manchester United are reportedly set to launch a £60M move for Chelsea winger Willian.

Willian’s time as a Chelsea player may soon be coming to an end. Our two-time players’ of the year has enjoyed periods of excellence during his time at Stamford Bridge, but has struggled to match the productivity of attacking counterpart Eden Hazard.

The Brazilian has scored just 25 goals in 166 Premier League appearances as a Chelsea player. That’s not good enough, even if many of them have been strikes to remember.

We’d have no qualms letting him go if the price was right. The money could be reinvested into a younger and more productive winger. According to the Daily Mail, his departure would leave us with plenty of cash to play with.

The report claims that Man United are preparing a £60M bid for Willian. Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with the 29-year-old this summer, and despite his age, is willing to make Willian the most expensive sale in Chelsea’s history.

Would you accept that amount in exchange for Willian, Blues?

If CFC was, a couple of days ago, willing to look at paying out 100m pounds for (yet to prove worth) Martial … why would we consider taking 60m pounds for Willian ???
