Eden Hazard looked absolutely heartbroken as he left the field following Chelsea’s 6-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Hazard may well not be here next season, but you can never question his commitment to the cause. He could be tempted into signing for Real Madrid as they’re the club that he’s dreamed of since he was a child. It has no bearing on his love for Chelsea – which is undeniable.

Stay or go, Hazard is a Chelsea legend. He’s carried us through so many difficult moments, and like many who have come before him, he wears his heart on his sleeve. He did so once again after our 6-0 defeat to Man City, leaving the Etihad turf holding back the tears. This is difficult to watch.

Whether it will be Maurizio Sarri or anyone else in charge next season, they’ll be desperately hoping that Hazard stays put. There’s not a great deal of quality in this Chelsea squad right now. We heavily rely on his influence, and if he departs, we dread to think what it’ll be like.
