Chelsea have taken the lead over Malmo in our Europa League round of 32 second-leg through Olivier Giroud. He loves this competition!
The Blues were holding on to their aggregate lead through the first-half, but never really threatened Malmo’s goal. Frustration was growing among the Chelsea supporters, but that should ease now that Giroud has found the back of the net.
Willian delivered the ball from the left-hand-side, with Giroud finding himself with a simple finish from the middle of the goal. That should be enough to take us safely through to the quarter-finals of the competition. GET IN!
So that’s why Sarri has been playing N’Golo Kanté in that position 👀
