Gonzalo Higuain has scored his first goal for Chelsea against Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge – and what a brilliant way to open his account for the Blues!

Higuain ran beyond the Huddersfield defence and pointed to exactly where he wanted the ball to be played. N’Golo Kante played through a gorgeous disguised pass to the Argentine, who fired past the goalkeeper at the near post emphatically.

This is exactly why we signed him, he knows how to find the back of the net better than most on the planet. If this is a sign of what’s to come from Higuain, bagging him last month may well have been a masterstroke. It’s 1-0 to the Blues!
