January loan signing Gonzalo Higuain is looking sharp as a blade in training. Chelsea tweeted out a mini-montage of the best bits from his first day of training.
We’re all incredibly excited to see Gonzalo Higuain pull on the Chelsea shirt for the first time. He is one of the greatest strikers of his generation, and at 31-years-old he should still have plenty to offer. At the very least, he won’t be as bad for us as Alvaro Morata.
He’s on his way to proving that to the Chelsea faithful already. Not only was he one of the first on the pitch to celebrate when we beat Tottenham on penalties midweek, he’s also been showing us what he’s capable of in training, having no mercy on international teammate Willy Caballero.

If Higuain is able to replicate this deadly finishes on the field of play, we’ll be laughing. He’s done it in Spain and Italy and will be relishing the challenge that the Premier League brings. With the support he’ll be getting from Maurizio Sarri, we have little doubt he’ll succeed.
