Michy Batshuayi? Scoring several goals in a cup game? We’re getting used to this…

The Belgian has only been trusted to lead the line during cup competitions against lower oppositions, and he was given the opportunity to do so once again against Newcastle United this afternoon in the FA Cup.

After some smart work by Eden Hazard down the left-hand-side, the Belgian fed the ball into the path of Marcos Alonso. Alonso squared the ball to Batshuayi, who was not going to miss from so close to the goal. See the goal below.

Michy was not done there, however, as he doubled his tally with a goal even worse than his first. Batshuayi fired the ball into the leg of the Newcastle United and the ball looped over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. What an awful goal, but who cares, it’s 2-0!
