Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored his first Premier League goal for Crystal Palace against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The England international had not found the back of the net in the league forĀ 602 days prior to this strike against the Potters. The goal was long overdue.

Loftus-Cheek snuck in at the back post and fired home into the back of the net to bag his first of the season and draw Palace level with Stoke.

If he continues to perform in this manner, Gareth Southgate will find it hard to leave him out of his squad for the World Cup in 2018.
