We have an update to bring you on the condition of the Chelsea squad ahead of our clash with Huddersfield on Wednesday night courtesy of the reliable Physio Room.
Just when you thought that Chelsea’s hopes of Champions League qualification were done and dusted, Antonio Conte’s men have forced their way back into the conversation.
The 2016/17 Premier League champions are the most in-form side in the division, and as a result are hot on the heels of both Tottenham and Liverpool.
As well as needing either side to drop points between now and the end of the season, the Blues also need to enjoy they win their two remaining fixtures.
They could be without up to four for Wednesday night’s clash with Huddersfield.
Alvaro Morata: Physio Room report that Alvaro Morata has a ‘knock’ and it is currently unclear whether he will be fit to face Huddersfield. With the form of Olivier Giroud, it’s not too much of a concern.
Danny Drinkwater: Danny Drinkwater is continuing his recovery from a calf strain and will be unavailable to face Huddersfield. Get well soon, Danny!
David Luiz: We hope to see David Luiz back before the end of the season. However, his long-term ankle injury will rule him out of this one.
Ethan Ampadu: Ethan Ampadu has a broken ankle and will miss the remainder of the season. We’ll see him again next season.
