Ahead of our clash with Jurgen Klopp’s men on Sunday afternoon, we have a Liverpool injury update to bring you ahead of the game courtesy of Physio Room.
Chelsea are hot on Liverpool’s tail. They may have a Champions League final to look forward to, but their position in the top four is looking precarious. They can’t afford to lose at Stamford Bridge, but have several injury issues ahead of the trip.
ADAM LALLANA: Adam Lallana has a hamstring injury. Physio Room consider him to be a ‘slight doubt’ to feature in the contest.
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN: The Englishman, who almost signed for Chelsea in the summer, is not available for the game. He has a knee injury and Physio Room have ruled him out.
JOE GOMEZ: Joe Gomez is carrying an ankle injury. Physio Room believe that he’ll be watching from the sidelines for this one.
JOEL MATIP: Joel Matip sustained a thigh injury and will not recover in time to visit the home of the 2017/18 Premier League champions.
EMRE CAN: Emre Can’s future at Liverpool is in serious doubt. He could be entering his final days with the Reds, but won’t be playing on Saturday due to a back injury.
