Diego Costa has no plans of returning to Chelsea, despite being included in the Blues’ 25-man squad for the Premier League, according to the Telegraph.
As the Telegraph report, Costa was unable to secure a move back to former employers Diego Costa before the Spanish transfer deadline on Friday night, meaning that he is lumbered at Stamford Bridge until at least the January transfer window.
The Telegraph believe that Chelsea expect Costa to return to training at the Cobham training ground and make himself available for selection. However, the Spaniard does not appear to have any interest in doing so and the Telegraph claim that he will continue his feud with Antonio Conte rather than return to England.
One theory, as the Telegraph note, is that Chelsea including Costa in the squad is proof that they are not preventing him from playing, which will come in handy if the case does end up in court.
