Eden Hazard has revealed during an interview with the Mirror that he feels he improved after working with Antonio Conte for only a week.

It was clear to see during the early stages of his career that Hazard was destined for greatness. His 2011/12 campaign for Lille was one for the history books, and it was that which earned him a move to then Champions of Europe Chelsea.

Hazard was already considered one of the best in the world prior to Conte’s arrival, but playing under the Italian’s stewardship has elevated him to the next level. The 26-year-old appears to be thankful to Conte for his hard work.

The Mirror quote Hazard, who reveals that it took just a week for him to improve under Conte’s stewardship, and suggests that the best may still be yet to come from the Chelsea boss:

“Even after a week I think I had progressed with him. But I think he’s shown not just at Chelsea but also at Juve that he’s a good coach and I think he has some good years ahead of him.”

Hazard will only continue to grow working alongside Conte, and we’ll be the ones to benefit from it.
