Eden Hazard has revealed that he is waiting to see who Chelsea sign this summer before making a final decision on whether he will remain at the club.

With continual speculation linking Hazard with a move to back-to-back-to-back European champions Real Madrid, you could forgive Chelsea fans for feeling a little nervy. We don’t have Champions League football to offer the Belgian next term, Los Blancos will be considered one of the favourites to win their fourth on the bounce.

Where Hazard’s head is at is yet unclear, he has spoken only ambiguously about his future at Stamford Bridge. Ahead of Belgium’s World Cup campaign in Russia, he has done so once again.

Hazard is quoted by the Telegraph being characteristically non-committal, but suggesting that where his future lies could depend on what Chelsea do in the transfer market this summer:

“Yeah, I want to know.┬áIf we have something new, a manager or players, it is always good to know because I want to see which players can be at Chelsea next season. But, to be fair, the transfer market is not open yet, so we will see after.”

This should give our board enough of a wake-up call to get active in the transfer market, even with the uncertain managerial situation.
