At 19-years-old, Kyle Scott is seeking more playing opportunities as his time as a first team player at Chelsea continues to be limited.

As per The Sun, the Englishman’s talks over a contract extension haven’t progressed.

The centre-midfielder is prepared to leave the champions as Premier League teams Huddersfield and Leicester are interested in the player.

It’s understood that an issue over wages has nothing to do with this situation, The Sun reports.

Andreas Christensen is the first Chelsea academy product to break into and make an impact for the first team since John Terry.

Dominic Solanke was the same age as Scott when he left Chelsea to join Liverpool in the summer.

Even if there’s a u-turn in these talks, it’s likely that the player would be sent out on loan as he is yet to feature for Antonio Conte’s team.
