There couldn’t be a better time for Chelsea to play the out of form and relegation contending team that is West Ham.
Despite the need for the Blues to secure all three points in our visit to the London Stadium, there is another derby fans will have their eyes on.
Manchester United host Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday as we hope both teams drop valuable points.
Chelsea are 11 points off league leaders City and 3 points behind second place United. Antonio Conte and his team will have full concentration on our match. However, for us outsiders, there will be great anticipation in this top of the table clash.
A City win would be disastrous for Chelsea
They’ve been a pain in the backside with recent last minute victories this season but City are deservedly where they should be.
However, the title race is a marathon not a sprint. Our team knows what it takes to reach the pinnacle of English football. Which is why not only can the champions afford to drop points, they can’t afford City to get any further out of reach.
Seeing both teams drop points will be welcoming but a United win would also be great for us.
Hopefully we can take a back seat and watch the Manchester derby with no stress.
